I still remember a couple of months ago sitting with my colleagues: Agnieszka Halikowska and Monika CHUTNIK, having a coffee, talking about DEI and thinking: wouldn’t it be great to have a community of fellow DEI professionals - from business, NGOs, freelancers - whom we could meet every now and then and share our thoughts with, learn from each other, professionalize together?

The idea took a couple of months to define and materialise but here we are, a couple of days after the kick-off of Wrocław DEI Network, hosted by wonderful Katarzyna Kulig-Moskwa at Uniwersytet WSB Merito Wrocław with over 30 DEI professionals.

DEI in Poland is still relatively new, it’s developing with ups and bumps and we can grow beyond what we think we could if we are willing to grow together- in the spirit of sharing knowledge and trust and for that we need a community.

I'm amazed with this first Wrocław DEI Network meeting: great inputs, an art exhibition related to #neurodiversity, vulnerability of not knowing everything, the readiness to share what we already know… and also the responsibility we are willing to take to co-create this space, together. The plan is clear, the next meeting is scheduled, the organisers of it are already there.

Simply cannot wait for it! Thank you Monika, Aga and Kasia for our efforts to give it a spark.
