Three biases that impact women in particular

When discussing bias in the workplace, the #hiring stage often receives the most attention. However, it is crucial to recognize that bias also influences so many other stages, for example as #performance reviews.


Here are three biases that particularly #women can be subjected to*

🔹 Experience bias
🔹 Proximity bias
🔹 In-group / out group #bias

The reason for this is that women often utilize the flexibility provided by hybrid and #remotework to fulfill caregiving responsibilities, which still predominantly fall on their shoulders.

As a result, women are more likely to be affected by biases that slip into the performance-review process and lead to unfair judgments against them.
