Do you want to support women in leadership positions? Stop telling them to get more confident.

If you are a manager, one of the most important ways you can support aspiring leaders is through developmental feedback.

However, be aware of gender bias.

The research* shows that women get less effective, less actionable feedback than men and they hear more about how they should work on their confidence.

It’s not a confidence thing. It’s knowing what skill development to focus on.
